Meet Sydney

Owner, Language & Learning Lab

Sydney Ferstein, M.S. CCC-SLP/L is a passionate and dedicated speech-language pathologist. She maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Sydney received her Bachelor's Degree in Speech & Hearing Sciences at Indiana University Bloomington, followed by her Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University.

Sydney has experience in evaluating and treating articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, social pragmatic disorders, and fluency disorders, although she holds a special interest in the intersection between language and learning. She recently completed her Level I Wilson Reading System Certification and has a passion for helping children with language-based learning disabilities.

Sydney lives in Evanston, IL with her husband and her puppy, Alfie. Find her crocheting, reading, and spending time with her loved ones!
